What we love about our house
I especially like the way the sun shines into the living room brightening and warming the whole room; the extended bedroom too benefits and it is lovely to wake up to sunshine streaming in through the windows. The small patio area outside the living room is a wonderful sun trap and enjoys the sun all day given its position. There is a well established Fuchsia bush at the side of the gate which is glorious in the Summer; a riot of deep red pendent blooms. The kitchen is warm and sunny in its colour scheme and I think the neural colours used throughout the house work very well; very calming. I was drawn to the kitchen being fitted and big enough for a small table. The bathroom being fitted and light and fresh worked for me also. The garden to the front is well established and requires minimal maintenance. From Spring onwards it is lush with growth and very colourful. I also liked the fact I could leave the car at home and walk to the local shops and into Perth itself. I very much enjoyed living there.
Perthshire boasts a broad range of visitor attractions, luxury hotels and restaurants, renown schooling, entertainment facilities, leisure pursuits and sporting opportunities including fishing on the many rivers and lochs and golfing at the world famous Gleneagles Championship courses to name but a few. As well as a flourishing arts and cultural scene, Perthshire has also come to be known as the gateway to the Highlands and also provides excellent road and rail links to Scotland's major cities and airports making it a highly sought-after holiday destination for tourists and an ideal area in which to work and call home.
