The West End of Glasgow is still a place that many aspire to buy into. Last year, Clyde listed 435 properties across the West End and sold 392 of these with prices ranging from £100,000 – £750,000. We have already began building on this phenomenal success as viewing levels are up almost 40% compared to last year and our average selling price has increased to £241,000.

Simply reviewing last quarter alone reveals that Clyde Property in the West End continues to be the estate agent to beat as we sold 36% more properties than our nearest competitor as we successful closed deals on a staggering 109 properties.

At the West End branch, we are excited about 2016 and reckon that even with the landlord tax (which comes into effect in April and is on our blog news section) and the anticipated interest rate hike we do not anticipate the market slowing down.

I think 2016 will continue to see house prices across Glasgow West End rise by certainly 5%.
