A £1.97 million upgrade to Troon Primary School is set to transform education for children, according to council chiefs.
The project involves the demolition of the existing dining hall, replacing it with a double height assembly/gym hall/dining hall, a single-storey building with changing rooms and kitchen, and improved accessibility.
Councillor Margaret Toner, lifelong learning spokeswoman said: “This major new addition to Troon Primary School will deliver real benefits to generations of children in the local community.”
