The Falkirk market has had an outstanding year to date with exceptionally strong demand for all property types. The Clyde Property Falkirk team had an average stock of 50-60 properties, which is much higher than the UK average stock of 27-32 properties.

Despite this high figure demand is still outweighing supply, and the result is exceptional fast sales times – with offers often accepted in just a matter of days.

March and April saw in excess of eighty properties instructed which is a 30% increase year-on-year.

Although it’s typical for properties to achieve around 5% offers over the asking price, up to 10% can be achieved at competitive closing dates. Sales were superb in January-April inclusive.

One of the highlights is the exciting development at The Potteries in Larbert, which was launched in January. This has almost sold out.

At the Larbert House development, resales of two and three bedroom flats have been carried out in the £280,000-£300,000 region with new build villas on the site having been sold at £635,000 underlining strong market confidence.
