Glasgow’s West End Festival is Now On!

Glasgow’s largest cultural event – the West End Festival is now on!

The West End Festival takes place every June over this ever popular, vibrant and exciting area of Glasgow, and you can see a wide variety of events and performances. The Festival is supported with funding from Creative Scotland and Glasgow City Council helps to fund the festival.

There are over 100 Glasgow-based organisations, arts groups and local and international artists taking part to bring you a selection of activities and projects, overseen by a the festival team. This Festival brings all of these activities together in the festival programme and allows people to experience a wide variety of events, exhibitions, performances, talks, tours, workshops and screenings.

Many of the events are free of charge to allow accessibility and they include participants and venues that can complement the already diverse programme.

Over a million visitors have attended the event since it started and last year the festival encompassed over 400 events in 80 venues across the west end.
