Living locally in Shawlands
Moving outwards from Shawlands, the South side of Glasgow extends into the highly sought after suburbs of Newlands, Pollokshields, Langside and Cathcart. Thus revealing a diverse range of family housing stock ranging from affordable semi and detached properties to some of the finest examples of classical and neo gothic villas. Acting as a peaceful haven for growing families and served with an array of local amenties and attractions, such leafy suburbs continue to expand and grow in popularity.
In line with Glasgow's Gaelic translation, 'dear green place', the Southside is particularly well served by a number of internationally renowned parks. Most notably, Pollok Country Park which houses the world famous Burrell collection and the equally impressive Queens Park which offers a delightful recreational setting.
