Clyde Property Perth – An Exceptionally Busy Year!

This year has been yet another exceptionally busy year for our Clyde Perth branch. In general the market has remained buoyant despite the ongoing political turmoil. Differing price points and locations however have performed very differently. The sub £200,000 market has been robust with high levels of buyers and the majority of property selling well within 2-3 weeks. Between £200,000 – £325,000 there is good demand especially within the more popular areas of Perth including Oakbank, Craigie and Kinnoull, with Scone and Auchterarder markets also performing well. As the value of property rises the level of buyers noticeably falls away and the market above £325,000 tightens up.

Looking forward to 2020

We expect an extremely brisk start to 2020, with the general election out of the way, Brexit looking sure to move forward by the end of January and political stability returning – we believe there will be a number of people planning a move over the first half of next year. Over the traditionally quieter months of November and December Clyde Perth have been very busy preparing a number of high quality properties which have been pre-registered and ready to list in the first few weeks our the New Year. Keep an eye out for a number of new listings including the outstanding steading development – Elm Mews in Glencarse.

Giving back

Away from selling property it has been very important to the Perth team to do as much as possible to ‘give back’ to the local community. Throughout the year we have regularly taken part in charity events and we continually look for opportunities to help local charities. Some of these include regular donations to Perth food banks and ensuring someone from the branch is donating blood every quarter. In December, we also take part in Tay FMs Mission for Christmas where we welcome donations of unwrapped new toys and gifts from staff and the general public which will then be donated to less fortunate children throughout Perthshire and Dundee – this is something that is extremely important to the team and is very close to our hearts.
